Shows with Multiple Endings

I just finished two shows that were based on dating sims. It actually shows multiple endings, as if you have played the game itself. One show was decent and the other one was based on an adult game, so well.. expect a lot of erotic scenes.


Amagami SS

Based on the Playstation 2 dating sim Amagami which was published by Enterbrain, the show features a guy who was stood up by his date on Christmas Eve, which left him heartbroken and traumatized, and the 6 girls who changed his life forever. I have no idea what SS actually means, maybe it means "Super Show". Each arc is about 3-4 episodes long, all of the story arcs are fun to watch, you kinda get attached to the girl in that episode. The ending songs is actually sang by the seiyuu of the featured girl  in that arc. The story features dating sim stereotypes. The hot upperclassman, the childhood friend, the cute underclassman, the cool girl, and the class president. The best translation so far is from Unlimited Translation Works website.

Yosuga no Sora

Just like above, this show has multiple arcs. However, it is based off an adult visual novel so expect a lot of..stuff. I actually enjoyed the first few arcs of the show. However this actually involves incest which was in the last arc of the show. The story is a bit tragic since it is about fraternal twins Haruka and Sora Kasugano who lost their parents in a automobile accident. Basically its about them going back to the country where they grew up and reconstructing the shards of their shattered life. As they return to the countryside via railcar, they encounter people old and new that help shape and build their new future. I also found this show under the same fansubber as Amagami SS.
