Yellow Magic Orchestra is the name of this trio that looks like Tito, Vic and Joey. They began their career in 1978, The principal members are Haruomi Hosono (bass), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums and vocals) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards). They have been known as the pioneers of the electro pop genre. The band broke up in 1984 in which the band members returned to their solo careers. They reformed in 2007 under the new name "HASYMO". In 2009, they dropped the new name and returned to the original band name.

Ryuichi Sakamoto sounds familiar? Of course he is, He arranged the score for the movie "The Last Emperor" which earned him an academy award. I couldn't believe this guy was actually part of a boy band.

I actually came accoss these guys when I was checking Kotaku. And there was a trailer for Awesome Solitaire which is a game released for the iphone. It was hilarious as heck, but the music was catchy as well. while browsing the comments, I found out that the song happened to be the ending music of the Maria Holic anime entitled "Kimi ni Mune Kyun". That song was originally performed by YMO. Below is the original music video of the three singing that song. They really look like Tito, Vic and Joey, well it was the seventies.
