The Legend of Zelda Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
Wow, time sure flies by, The Legend of Zelda is already celebrating its 25th anniversary and I haven't even finished the first game. A short orchestral concert featuring a medley of arranged tracks from the game was held in E3 2011, It was performed by the Zelda Symphony Orchestra.
The Zelda Symphony Orchestra will be holding a concert at Tokyo's Sumida Triphony Hall on October 10, 2011, the orchestra will also be touring London on the 25th.
Nintendo will also be holding a Ugomemo (Flipnote Studio) Zelda Contest, the fans will be creating their own Zelda themed animation to commemorate the franchise. The contest will be judged by Legend of Zelda's creators including Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Eiji Aonuma and Yoshiaki Koizumi. I really want to join this contest, the problem is I don't own a DSi. Nintendo will be supplying the sounds you can use for your animation and also provided a sample animation (really hilarious) and a tutorial on how to draw link.
you can also download awesome wallpapers from the official site.
