PSN Welcome Back Package
The Playstation store is due to open at the end of the month in North America and Europe. And as a thank you from them for being patient with the long downtime, Sony is giving away free stuff. That downtime wasn't so bad after all right?
First of all, they will be giving a 30 day free subscription to Playstation Plus. If you're a member of Plus, you have access to the newest demos, free or discounted prices on certain games and cloud storage for save files. They are also offering a 30 day free subscription to Music Unlimited, "On Us" rental movie titles will be made available to customers over the weekend, and loads of free stuff in Playstation Home.
That's not all, PS3 users will get to download two retail games from the following list for free during the first 30 days after restoration of the Playstation Store.
And wait, there's more! PSP owners will get to download two games from the following list as well.
As they say, good things come to those who wait. Japan has also announced what they have to offer in their welcome back package, and I must say that their titles for the PSP is pretty good.
