Hooked on Clannad

Clannad, an Irish musical group has been performing since the 70's. It consists of siblings Moya Brennan, Ciaran Brennan, Pol Brennan and their twin uncles Noel Duggan and Padraig Duggan. Sibling Enya who was once part of the group left for a solo career in 1981.

My favorite song was "In a Lifetime". I was actually rummaging through my dad's old albums when I saw a disc with a collection of love songs. In a Lifetime was one of the songs there, Moya had a duet with U2's Bono. The blending of the voices was awesome, and after that I was hooked to the band. Now I listen to Irish songs as well thanks to this band. Some of their songs feel like Metal Gear Solid's ending song "The Best is Yet to Come" which was performed by an Irish singer Aoife.
