GHP 11/10/09 Sesame Street 40th Anniversary and Gravure Idols?!
Hey guys! Sesame Street is now 40 years old and still running strong. It premiered on November 10, 1969, and is still the longest running children's program on US television and probably the world. I'm still a sucker for these kinds of programs. And in celebration of 40 years of Sesame Street. I bring you the letter of the day, the letter K. Just click on the picture to go straight to the video. It's still very hilarious after all this time.
Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga (Azumanga Daioh)
Tenma Tsukamoto (School Rumble)
Tsukasa Hiiragi (Lucky Star)

SUPER COP!
This video came from the 2003 Swedish movie "Kopps". It's actually more of a dream sequence in the movie, but the action is amazing! I never thought of throwing a gun up in the air and catch the darn thing with my pants and firing the darn thing while its sticking out of the zipper. I suddenly remember those ridiculous Indian action movie sequences and our very own Filipino action sequences.

What do some guys Japan collect other than figurines?
COSTUME CARDS!! No its not a costume in shape of a card, its actually a shred of clothing of a famous gravure idol stuck on a piece of card and sold as a limited edition material. Oo nga naman! instead of prying the clothes of your favorite celebrity in public, why not be a civilized person and buy it, or better yet buy a piece of it (then if no one is looking, start sniffing on it hehehe...ahhemm). Below is a few more details on it:
A costume card is a card that contains a piece of clothing actually worn by the member in the picture. Typically the costume the girl is pictured with in the card is where the costume swatch would come from. Normally costume cards tell you which piece of clothing the swatch comes from, it could be a shawl or a t-shirt, shorts or a bikini. Some sets even go so far as to specifically list the exact spot the swatch comes from. The most popular term for the cards is "Pinky Spot" and these are extremely valuable and sought after because of two factors;
Rarity - Unlike other costume cards where there may be 100 cards made from the t-shirt using the same imprint (that is all costume card ASIDE from the swatch itself) are the exact same, a Pinky Spot card is one of a kind because it lists the exact spot TO THE INCH of where the swatch comes from. 1 of 1.
"Pinky Spot" - Can you imagine how much a card would go for if you knew the Nozomi Kawasaki bikini swatch in the card came from her vaginal area? Typically the erogenous zone areas go for the most for obvious reasons.

And if you want to know who Nozomi Kawasaki is, eto yung picture niya.
SHET!! I WANT DAT!!!
Slow but cute
Here are some of the characters na cute, pero may pagka slow, I did not rank them since there are instances na talagang pwede sila mag number 1.
Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga (Azumanga Daioh)
One of the most influential anime characters of recent years, Osaka is notable for not conforming to the usual stereotypes of an anime heroine: for example in 2003 she was voted 7th in the top 100 poll, "Anime Heroines of 2002" by readers of the Japanese anime magazine Newtype, but was the only character in the top ten who could not be categorised as "cute", "sexy", or "spunky". Instead Osaka is plain, flat-chested, and feeble. Her appeal arises instead from her vivid imagination which comprises a large part of the humor of Azumanga Daioh. Osaka is not only a day-dreamer but in fact tends to fall asleep in class, and her unusual character acts as the foil for the other characters.
Tenma Tsukamoto (School Rumble)
Tenma Tsukamoto is the female protagonist who loves Ōji Karasuma. Tenma is short, undeveloped and childish for her age. She often is mistaken as being younger than her classmates and her younger sister Yakumo. One of her obvious physical features are the little ponytails in her hair, which often wiggle if she is happy or excited. She is also dense, slow and unreliable and often misunderstands otherwise obvious situations. Despite her shortcomings, Tenma is good-natured and friendly.
Tsukasa Hiiragi (Lucky Star)
Tsukasa is the younger fraternal twin sister of Kagami and lives in a six-member family household with her parents. She is in the same class as Konata though isn't good at studying or at sports, but excels in cooking.
Tsukasa's physique is a little smaller than average. She has short, light-purple hair, and wears a ribbon like a head band in it, and her droopy eyes are light violet. She is portrayed as a stereotypical klutz and as a "healing-type" character. She spends a lot of time sleeping.

Sora Kajiwara (Sketchbook ~full color'S~)
A young shy girl who enjoys drawing and cats.
Kajiwara Sora lives and draws completely from the heart. She takes her sketchbook everywhere with her in her ongoing attempts to capture the transitory in her art. Sora's heightened awareness of mono-no-aware also causes her to notice very small details of the world around her and makes her a "my-pace" kind of person. She loves all the cats in the neighborhood and has named them all. As the story begins, she is painfully, extremely shy -- to the point where even the most casual encounter with a stranger paralyzes her and loud voices can trigger her panic and flight. Later, she learns to open up just a bit to her friends.

Yui Hirasawa (K-ON!)
Yui is the main character of K-On!. She is one of the members of the light music club, and plays a Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar that she nicknames ''Giita''. She does not get good grades in school and is easily distracted by trivialities. Yui is clumsy and easily spaces out most of the time. She takes a huge liking for any kind of food, but admits that she does not gain any weight. She has her younger sister Ui to take care of her and keep herself in line. She has a very easy-going nature, but has incredible concentration when hyped, though this is only limited to one subject at a time. She will totally neglect any other things in the process, to the point of forgetting anything she has learned beforehand. Despite all of this, Yui is still devoted to her band and will practice hard enough for the club. She has perfect pitch and is one of the group's vocalists, although she is known to forget her lyrics in mid-performance, as well as overdoing things, making her unable to perform sometimes.

O KAY HEEWAP!
These past few days, I have been playing Ninja Gaiden 2 for the Xbox 360. Yes "Ninja Gaiden", the game where even the strategy guide cannot save your life. I started to imitate Poreyn Gerry by saying "O Kay Heewap!" So to relieve stress kailangan ng "SAMALAMIG" I'm posting the site again. There are a lot of coffee recipies that popped out of that website. I'm not a coffee achiever, but some of them looks really good. Here is the website again. http://www.nestle.com.ph/nescafe/samalamig/vidrecipes.asp

YOCK!
CG Gallery Ichiriduka is a website I came across when I was still in internet research. His renderings are realistic as heck, but has quite a sick mind.
You can go check this guy's other artworks in this website http://ichiriduka.hp.infoseek.co.jp/
