It finally ends, the Goblin Nation arc is over and Peter Parker is back. I have actually enjoyed the Superior Spider-Man series. I loved how Doc Ock changed Peter's life. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 starts two weeks from now and I'm really excited. I really want to see Pete's reaction to his brand new life. I actually already subscribed in advance for this through my favorite comic shop. They timed Peter's return with the Amazing Spider-Man movie that will be released this April.
There is a new Ms. Marvel in the Marvel universe, and she's Muslim. This is actually a refreshing new approach to superheroes. This is why Marvel is usually superior to other comic book brands, they are always trying something new, and I am currently enjoying the series. Compared to Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan the new heroine is a polymorph, so in a way it's kind of like the 80's version of Supergirl. I just finished the 3rd issue and it's written very well. I highly recommend this series, not only is it funny, it also shows the reality of being a female Muslim living in America.
