Steve Jobs (1955-2011)
Steve Jobs the former CEO and co-founder of Apple dies of pancreatic cancer at the age of 56 on October 5, 2011. Steve was a great innovator. He brought us the Apple II, Macintosh, Pixar, and his wide range of "i" products.
When I got my hands on a Macintosh SE for the first time, it had the best user friendly interface I had ever seen. Something Windows 3.1 could never achieve at that time. When you hear the word Mac, you can only think of quality. He changed technology, and in a way he changed the world. Makes me want to watch "Pirates of Silicon Valley" in his memory.
Hearing about Steve's death was a shock to me. This event is truly a sad day in the tech community.
