We had a guest during one of our pilgrimages, can you guess who?
Well guess what? It's Al! We introduced Al to Yakimix, that yakiniku place in the most expensive highway in the country. We actually had a funny conversation since the restaurant was playing 「Pyramid」 by Charice.
We gone through the usual route after that since Pao needed something fixed, and its got something to do with the picture below.
We did our usual routine, a quick stop in Data Blitz where I bought Lost Planet 2, checked some figurines and ate a few snacks. Roughly we spent our time in GH for about 5 Hours and 30 minutes if I remember the what the parking ticket stated. We headed to Glorietta since Keith wanted to introduce a new arcade game to the guys. It was called "Gaia Attack 4" it was shooting arcade machine made by Taito. The game has 4 light guns, and the objective of the game is basically to prevent alien invasion and give those aliens a miserable time on Earth.
Well, we finished it. It was pretty fun especially since we are all playing together in one machine. Reminds me of the day we used to abuse the Bishi Bashi machine which was an arcade game by Konami. After a very tiring day, we kinda ended up eating dinner in Burger King, before we realized it, the mall was closing. And it was the end of the day. Pao needed to get back home because he had work the next day and I had to get home because my stomach wasn't feeling very well.
Ok, so how did we rate Gaia Attack 4 (5 is the highest 1 is the lowest)
Fun Factor - 5 (Its a 5 if everyone you know is playing, I guess its a 2 when playing alone)
Replay Value- 2 (Once you've finished the game, that's it)
Challenge - 4 (The game is quite hard, teamwork is necessary)
Graphics - 4 (The polygons over the full motion video is almost flawless)
Story - 3 (Not much of a story, but its really funny)
Sound - 3 (Stiff voice acting, same as the old beat em up arcade games, music is okay though)
Total - 3 (its a pretty average arcade game, but its a fun party game)
The game kinda reminded me of the shooting stages in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.
Probably you'll say its the guy behind Al |
Pao: Hindi ko maintindihan, Di ba sabi sa kanta "Pyramid we built this on solid ground" di ba puro sand dun?
Vince: Baka Aztec na pyramid?
Pao: That actually crossed my mind.
Unfortunately the lyrics did mention "desert storm"
