Mitsudomoe

Just saw the last episode yesterday, the show is cute and funny, in a disturbing way. I don't actually think this show was made for kids, the humor on the show is kinda focused on adults.

The story is about the everyday life of the Marui triplets. There's Mitsuba the first daughter, she is a sadist and has an incredible superiority complex, she is the one on the right side of the title. The second daughter is Futaba, she is the goofy looking girl on the far left, has incredible strength and is very athletic, she also has an obsession with female breasts. And last is Hitoha, the one beside Futaba. She is always found carrying a book, the contents of the book was usually porn related in the first few episodes, it changed to Gatchi Ranger material when she got addicted to the show. Hitoha's attitude is close to Kimi ni Todoke's Kuronuma Sawako. The show also shows Satoshi Yabe, the Marui triplet's homeroom teacher. Satoshi was assigned to the Marui's class on his first day as a homeroom teacher. For him, it wasn't a very pleasant experience in his first day on the job.

The main theme of the show was more on misunderstandings. One example was naming the class pet hamster "Nipples". This alone would be a source of misunderstandings whenever the students talk about the class pet. And usually Satoshi is the victim of these misunderstandings.

The show is fun in a twisted manner. I would recommend this show to the people looking for a quick laugh. you can download the show in the FFFpeeps website. There are 13 episodes in total. The manga is still ongoing, so probably this may only be the first season.

Trivia:

The Mitsudomoe is actually a popular symbol in Japan. It consists of three tomoe (a magatama shaped symbol) each one representing Man, Earth and Sky. The Mitsudomoe originated from the Shinto religion's war deity Hachiman, which is also why the samurai adopted this as a traditional symbol.
